  • Full name: Erasmus Student Network of Vytautas Magnus University
  • Established in 2009
  • Part of one of the biggest interdisciplinary student associations in Europe
  • Unites 78 members
  • Aims to work in the interest of international students, improve their social and practical

integration as well as giving opportunity for Lithuanian students to learn about other cultures, develop intercultural tolerance and teaching to appreciate volunteering and active citizenship.

Mentor programme at VMU

A mentor is a student of Vytautas Magnus University who has international and intercultural experience and will be there to help International students with everything.

A mentor:

  • Contacts international student by e-mail 3 weeks before the beginning of semester
  • Meets international student at the Kaunas station/airport and accompanies him/her to the dormitory
  • Assist international student in orientating himself/herself both at the University and in Kaunas
  • Helps international student in everyday matters & making new friends
